Let's start a conspiracy!

conspiracy (n.) - from Latin conspirare meaning, literally, "to breathe together"

You know that feeling you get after a really great yoga class? How calm and peaceful you feel. The way you just want to bask in that feeling forever. You're centered, zenned out, in love with life--and then all of a sudden some A-hole cuts you off in traffic and you're right back into cursing up a storm.

What if you could make that feeling of centeredness last longer? What if you could take the yoga off the mat and into your life?

You can.

That's why I created my signature yoga-journaling hybrid series, Yin & the Power of the Pen.

To guide you in taking the lessons you learn in class out into the world with you. To STOP using yoga as just a way to stretch or exercise and to START making it a way of life.

To connect your thoughts with movement to first feel your emotions, then release them, and, finally, shift them.

Yin & the Power of the Pen is different from any other yoga I've experienced. I created it that way on purpose. Because "just be here now" and "vacate your mind" weren't working for me.

And I bet they probably don't work for you either.

So instead of trying NOT to think about anything in our classes, we instead give our brains the time and space to think about specific meaningful and productive topics. For example:

  • the things you've been avoiding lately

  • how healthy your current top 3 coping mechanisms are

  • what you're afraid of & how those fears are holding you back

  • how well your boundaries are currently serving you

  • what you hope to have learned to say no to 6 months from now

I know you're wondering how this works. So, there are 2 ways to practice with me.

If you live in the Estes Valley, keep on the lookout for my next in-person series coming this winter.

If you live anywhere else, you can join me for a FREE monthly online class the third Saturday of every month at 8:30 AM MST. Our next one is September 16th. Register here.

This series is for you if:

  • you always think about how stretching would be good for you but never find the time to do it.

  • you’ve always wanted to journal but don’t know how to get started.

  • you’ve been practicing yoga for a while but feel your practice has become stale.

  • you want more from a yoga practice than just asanas or breathwork.

  • you’ve never done yoga before but always wanted to try.

  • you feel like SOMETHING in your life needs to change but you’re so stuck on autopilot you can’t even figure out what.

  • you never make time for yourself and feel the toll it’s taking.

(This series is NOT for you if you hate journaling with a passion, only want to get a workout in from yoga, are a master at not thinking about anything at all on the mat, or don't desire support in between practices.)

Whether you're joining me in person this winter, online in a couple weeks, or not at all, I can't wait to keep connecting with you more deeply.

With Fierce Love,

Chazz
