Working IN Your Life vs. Working ON It

There's a difference between working in your life and working on your life.
Lately I've been so occupied working in my business that I haven't been working on it.
If you've been a long-term subscriber, you may have noticed I've been a little quite lately.
That's because my calendar has been filled (in the best way!) with my group coaching program, cooking classes, lots of extra subbing of fitness classes, and, most excitedly for me, preparing for my international coaching certification exam--which I passed last Wednesday!
For the most part, this time has been scheduled intentionally. I wanted to get in as many offerings as possible before the end of the year.
Because I knew I've also intentionally scheduled the next 4 weeks off of anything besides my regular fitness classes and 1:1 client sessions. I've reserved this time to be able to work on my business.
I learned the hard way the difference between working in my life and working on it. And when I started my business at the beginning of the year, I brought that lesson with me.
Working IN Your Life Looks Like:
going to work
keeping up with household chores
paying bills
doing the same exercise routine day after day
maintaining the status quo
Working in your life is essential, of course...but it's also limiting because it only gets you more of what you've already got.
Working ON Your Life Means:
carving out time to reflect on what's working & what's not
celebrating your wins & lessons
setting goals for what you want to accomplish next
getting very clear on why you want to achieve those goals
figuring out how you plan to start pursuing them
Working on your life is just as essential as working in it--but it's the first thing people neglect when push comes to shove.
That's why I've dedicated the rest of the year to working on my business.
I've reserved this time to reflect on what worked and what didn't in my programs. How I plan to offer even more value in both free and paid offerings. To prepare for future growth without sacrificing my own well-being, including time to work on my business and life.
This time is essential for me to orientate myself for the upcoming year, both personally and professionally.
Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing with you a deeper insight into what that reflection and planning process looks like, so stay tuned.
But if you already know you've neglected working on your life at the expense of working in it for too long and are ready now to change that, a Radical Reset is exactly what you need. Join me for 13 weeks of prioritizing your self-care, setting BIG goals, and crafting a vibrant, wide-awake life.
Sign up before December 19 to get a bonus 2-hour 1:1 session with me to ceremoniously close out 2023 and generate massive momentum for 2024.
With Fierce Love,
Chazz
