Frustrated by Your (Lack of) Progress?

Have you found yourself disheartened lately by how (not) far you've come on that thing you set out to do?
Maybe you said you were going to finally declutter the house. Or perhaps you decided it was time to get your finances in order. Maybe you're learning a new language. Or an instrument. Maybe you set an intention to release weight, start a business, write a novel, or communicate better with your spouse.
Whatever that thing is for you, if you're disappointed with how little you have to show for your efforts so far, I'm here to remind you to not give up.
When Henry Ford first began making Model Ts, it took 13 hours to assemble one car. Within 5 years, he was cranking one out every 90 seconds.
If we assume he had people working around the clock every day of the year, that means he made 673 cars the first year. By the 5th? 350,400.

It's always slow and difficult in the beginning. But with repetition comes learning, insights, and, eventually, mastery. Along the way you tweak things and get better, more efficient. What once felt like a real struggle becomes second nature, habit.
But you have to be willing to stay in the discomfort of the beginning phase to get to that point of mastery.
And along the way, you have to surround yourself with the right support. People to teach you what you don't know. People to encourage you when it gets hard. People to hold you accountable. People who believe in you and your vision.
"We can only get so far by doing things on our own," says Jocelyn, one of the participants in my last group coaching program.
Henry Ford certainly didn't do it alone. He had a team of engineers, builders, and factory workers behind him.
When it comes to embracing discomfort, community really is everything. Just listen to what Jocelyn had to say about her experience in the group.
It's time to stop doing everything on your own and join a group of other people who are committed to building resiliency together.
The deadline to register for my last group container of the year is this Friday, September 1. If you have even the slightest nudge that this might be for you, send me a message NOW for a complimentary assessment call to make sure this is the right group for you.
Together with the other members, you'll be doing daily workouts to energize you for your goals, reading and studying resiliency to apply the principles to your own life, and getting coached on your own hang-ups to bust through challenges, setbacks, and excuses.
Sound like a lot? It is. But here's the thing: You can hold more when you're holding the right things, and discomfort, like everything else, gets easier with practice.
Stop pushing it away and start embracing the discomfort of sticking with your intentions today.
With Fierce Love,
Chazz

I shared this story of Henry Ford on my Instagram page a couple weeks ago. You can watch that video for a little more inspiration here.
